Send and receive emails in Kazeli and use your own mail server

SUMMARY OF USAGE:

In this scenario you’ll use your own mail server and Kazeli for sending and receiving the majority of your emails and use your phone or possibly Outlook or Entourage on an infrequent basis, probably just when you need an offline version.

Use the following instructions to configure your email settings:

STEP 1: SETUP YOUR ACCOUNT WITH YOUR PERSONAL DROPBOX ADDRESS

  1. From the top navigation, click MY ACCOUNT
  2. Under the Kazeli User Settings section, click the CREATE/EDIT EMAIL ACCOUNTS link
  3. Then click EMAIL DROPBOX from the navigation
  4. If it doesn’t already exist, click CREATE NOW.
  5. Copy the OUTGOING EMAILS FROM EXTERNAL CLIENT email address. You will use this when you send emails from your external email client as explained in STEP 2 below.

STEP 2: SETTING YOUR EXTERNAL EMAIL CLIENT

  1. For outgoing emails
    Setup your email client such as Outlook, Mac Mail, etc to BCC your OUTGOING EMAILS FROM EXTERNAL CLIENT email address.OUTLOOK USERS – Plug-in for Outlook to auto bcc.┬áThis will effectively enable an auto bcc to your Kazeli dropbox with every email you send. This makes is super convenient and you won’t need to remember to BCC your Kazeli dropbox each time you email.http://www.ablebits.com/outlook-blind-carbon-copy-bcc-email-addins/index.php

STEP 3: ADD YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS TO KAZELI

  1. From the top navigation, click MY ACCOUNT
  2. Under the Kazeli User Settings section, click the CREATE/EDIT EMAIL ACCOUNTS link
  3. Then click ADD AN EMAIL ACCOUNT
  4. Click NO for the first question “Does the domain of the email already exist on Kazeli?”
  5. Click NO for the second question “Would you like to transfer your domain to Kazeli?”, unless if you prefer to have Kazeli become your mail server, click yes.
